Suzanne Marie Petrucci, BS, MSW, LCSW, is a social work professional with more than twenty-three (23) years of experience in the state of New Jersey, where she is qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and provide mental health treatment to children and adults. Her primary private practice outpatient location is in Woodbury, New Jersey, and in response to the pandemic she began offering telemedicine in April 2020.

Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the cognitive behavioral therapeutic model of psychotherapy, which she studied at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning certification in 2002. Suzanne also holds a unique certification as a Certified Neuro Change Practitioner and is a founding member of the Neuro Change Institute (Australia). She began her Neuro Change studies in 2022 and completed the certification in 2025 after four years of rigorous study. She is one of the only providers in the area with this credential.

Suzanne has a diverse professional background, having worked in inpatient psychiatric units, in-home settings with at-risk youth, and supporting adults in the community struggling with psycho-affective disorders and traumatic stress. She is credentialed by the Department of Defense as a Military Family Life Consultant, voluntarily deploying to three military installations between 2011 and 2015.

As the owner of a private practice since 1999, Suzanne is deeply passionate about forensic social work. She is known for her ability to document clinical findings for legal purposes in a rare, humanistic style that captures the essence of “what happened.” She believes trauma can be more easily overcome when individuals find their voice and reclaim their story. Cognitive behavioral therapy and the Neuro Change Method are central to her work, both offering opportunities for clients to heal by reshaping thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to create healthier outcomes.
